Helen holds a Bachelor’s in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University.

For the past eight years Helen has spent her time volunteering, interning, and working for a variety of non-profits in Colorado, New York, and Texas. In these organizations she specialized in direct services, development, and special events.

Currently, she is pursuing a degree in nursing.

In addition to serving as a Director on the Candlelight Ranch board, Helen is also involved in the Young Women’s Alliance and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
